Global Aid and Development Organization (GADO) was founded in July 2019 with a mission to transform lives in rural Somalia. Our organization is committed to addressing the pressing challenges faced by vulnerable communities by providing essential resources, sustainable solutions, and empowering initiatives.
At GADO, we believe that lasting change begins with community-driven development. We work closely with local leaders, families, and individuals to identify their needs and implement programs that promote protection, health, education, and environmental sustainability. Our Programs We support projects and programs that support and improve environmental conservation, food security and livelihoods, health and nutrition, protection and promotion of human rights, and education in rural Somalia.
Our Objectives We aim to achieve this by providing access to essential resources, education, and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. Through community-driven initiatives, we focus on enhancing food security, improving healthcare, promoting gender equality, and fostering economic development.By addressing both immediate needs and long-term challenges
The organization uses various platforms, including community radio, posters, and community meetings, to spread messages on the importance of protecting children and recognizing signs of abuse.
Prolonged displacement and insecurity have created dangerous conditions, especially for women and girls. We focus on providing confidential assistance to survivors of gender-based violence.
We aim to enhance inclusive access and successful completion of education across all levels, bolstering systems, structures, and human resources for efficient service delivery.
Our community-centered healthcare approach utilizes an extensive network of community health workers to guarantee that individuals in poverty can avail themselves of high-quality, affordable services.
